Wollongong in 1880 was just emerging from its quiet life as a colonial country village when, to meet the need for finance for erection of homes, the suggestion of citizens brought the formation of the Illawarra Mutual Building Society.

Very good condition. 64pp. Dustjacket is showing signs of age. Price sticker residue on dust jacket. Small tears along top and bottom of DJ. Illustrated with b/w and colour photographs. Edges of pages have yellowed. Pages are clean with no markings and the binding is tight. Two pages "Wollongong Hospital" have come unstuck from each other.
