Sergeant Jack Crossman # 3
Having experienced the horrors of Balaclava, Sergeant Jack Crossman and his men find themselves in the thick of the action once again...
Morale among the British and their allies, the French and Turks, is at an all-time low as the Crimean winter sets in and supplies become scarce. The British and French lay siege to the city of Sebastopol, determined to capture the port, but the Russians send a huge force to smash the siege, setting the scene for the Battle of Inkerman.
Jack and his men are sent on yet another covert mission to infiltrate enemy territory and cut their supply lines. Their dangerous task becomes all the more hazardous when it is discovered that there is a traitor lurking somewhere in the British ranks.
Can Jack's band of battle-weary Connaught Rangers fulfil their mission or will they fall to the guns of Russian troops lying in wait...?
